Tiferet Bet Israel Privacy Policy

Tiferet Bet Israel values your privacy.  This Policy discloses the privacy practices for TBI's website, as well as related services we may offer to you (referred to as the "Services"). This Policy also covers how personal and other information that we receive or collect about you is treated. Please read the information below to learn the following regarding your use of this site.  By continuing to use this site, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our web site.
When you visit our web site, we typically collect information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon where and when you visit on our site and what other sites may have directed you to us. This information, which is collected in a variety of different ways, is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include the Website's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that points to the site you just came from, which URL you go to after visiting our site, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address.  Additionally, if you choose to login to our web site, we are able to track which pages you visit and customize your experience based upon that.

We only collect personal information on our web site when you voluntarily provide it.  You may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain services available on the site. These may include: (a) registering for an account as a member; (b) signing up for one of our programs; (c) sending us an email message; or (d) submitting your credit card or other payment information when donating or purchasing services on the site. When processing certain information, such as payment information with affiliated banking institutions or payment processors, we encrypt the transaction, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, in order to prevent your personal information from being stolen or intercepted. Additionally, your credit card information is never stored on our servers.  In order to most effectively serve you, credit card transactions are handled by established third party banking institutions and processing agents.  They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process your donation or purchase.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed.

In some of our applications, we use cookies to help us improve your Web experience. Cookies are small text files which store information on your computer system.

If you provide your personal information to us on our web site, we will not sell it to any third party or commercial entity.  In addition, we will not disseminate the information to any third party, unless we are required to do so by law.  To provide you with a more beneficial Web experience, our web site may offer links to other sites. Please understand that we cannot be responsible for either the content or privacy policies on these other sites.

These policies are effective as of July 1, 2013. TBI reserves the right to change these policies by posting a new policy at any time.
